   Are these the same products from the Infomercial?

The Infomercial was back in 1991-1992. Products do get updated from time to time. However, some of the current products have not changed from the original formulas, except they have a different fragrance. Those products that have been changed are even better than before. The shampoos and conditioners have been improved and contain Lori,s exclusive blend of ten botanicals, which include Calendula, Yarrow, Cucumber, Carrageenan, Matricaria, Thyme, Ginseng, Sage, Comfrey and Aloe.

   Do you have a hair club membership where a customer receives certain packages every couple of months as was done in the 1990s?

No, we do not, and have no plans of starting one. Our customers prefer not to automatically receive packages every few months. They prefer to order when they want and as much as they want.

   Shipping and handling for 1 or 2 product?

Over the years, shipping has gotten very expensive. We have no control over the rate increases that the U.S. Postal Service and UPS charge. UPS increases their rates normally twice per year, and USPS increases their rates every January. Unfortunately, small orders of 1 to 2 products are extremely expensive to ship via UPS and U.S. Mail. UPS increased their rates another 5% January 2022. In January 2021, UPS charged from $19.30 to $26.81 for just two 8.4 oz. products. Because of their higher rates, we will ship via the U.S. Postal Service at our standard rate for 1 or 2 products, unless the U.S. Mail is higher also, which in recent times, they have been higher. USPS increased their rates in February 2022 and the rate for 2 8.4 oz bottles in most mailing zones is $15.50 to $16.10. In January 2021 it was $15.20 for two 8.4 oz. bottles. At any case, the majority of the time, USPS is higher, depending on the zone you live. Zone 8 has the highest rate. We will then ship the least expensive method and charge you the rate we would be charged. Please note, we have more flexibility on large orders.

   Shipping Rates?

From time to time, we must increase the shipping & handling rates we charge due to the continuing rate increases we receive from UPS and USPS. We have not increase our rates for a very long time. Small orders (1-2) are extremely expensive to ship via UPS, and by U.S. Mail. UPS increases their rates by 5% twice per year. Effective January 2022, UPS increased their rates again by 5%. To ship to MOST states now can cost from $21.00 to $26.00 for 2 products. This rate is MUCH more than our standard rates. If the UPS rate is too high, than we will ship via US Mail. The majority of the time, U S Mail is higher than our standard rate. It depends on the zone in which you live. Zone 8 is the most expensive. USPS increases their rates every year around January or February. In February 2022, USPS increased their rates to $15.50-$15.95 to ship two 8.4 oz. bottles of product. In 2021, it was $15.20. In any case, We will ship the least expensive way. If the rate is higher than ours, we will have to charge the higher rate. On large orders, we have more flexibility.

   Are the shipping and handling rates discounted if I order more Packages?

Yes. The more Packages you buy, the more you save on shipping and handling. The actual discount will not show on Your Order Information Confirmation you get online, but when the order is received in our offices, we will discount the shipping and handling when we process your order and charge your credit card. The amount you save will show on your invoice that comes with your order. It can be anywhere from $5.00, $10.00, $15.00 or MORE, depending on how many individual products or packages you buy and on your shipping zone. Shipping Zone 8 is very expensive to ship to from Southern California.

   If I place a very large order of Individual Products, do I get a discount in shipping & handling?

Yes, if you order, for example, 8 to 10 Individual Products, we would discount the shipping and handling when we actually receive your order in our offices. The discount will not show on your online order information. The discount amount will be done at the time we process the order and charge your credit card. The discount will show on your Invoice that accompanies your order. The discount can be anywhere between $5.00 to $10.00, $15.00 and sometimes MORE, depending on the zone in which you live. Zone 8 is the most expensive. The more you order the higher the discount.

   Shipping to Hawaii or to Alaska?

Product orders to Hawaii and to Alaska must go by UPS Air rather than our normal UPS ground, so Hawaii and Alaska customers must call our Customer Service Department at 800-962-9022 to obtain shipping costs. We may be able to ship by mail, depending upon your location.

   Do you ship to Canada?

Sorry, we only ship within the USA. Shipping to Canada, or anywhere outside the USA, is too costly to the customer. The shipment must go by air which is quite expensive, the customer has to pay the Duty Fees, Province Fees, plus pay to have the package delivered to their residence. Some of our Canadian customers have family in the USA and have products shipped to them and then either pick up the products when here on vacation, or have the products sent onto them in Canada by their family member.

   Other companies have increased the prices on their products. Are you planning to increase your prices?

Since Lori started selling her products online in 2000, she has NOT increased the product prices, even when her costs have gone up. Her goal has always been customer satisfaction first. We will do this as long as we are able, but if costs to operate continue to rise, which they have each year, we may have to increase our product prices, or go out of business.

   Do you have a return policy?

We have a 30-Day Return Policy on our hair products. Returns beyond 30 days will not be eligible for a refund. Shipping and Handling costs are not refundable on returns.

   Will Lori’s Memory Hold(R) II light hair spray hold my hair style?

Yes. To achieve the results you want, you should layer the hair spray in the following manner: Spray the hair once. Allow to dry. If you want more hold, spray again. Remember, Lori has always said that layering the hair spray determines the amount of hold you desire.

   How often should I use Lori’s Perfection(R) II?

At least once per week, or more, if hair is damaged. Leave on hair for at least 10 minutes, and for deeper conditioning, use heating cap. If you do not have a heating cap, then place an inexpensive plastic shower cap on your head and set under a hair dryer for 10 minutes. Or you can use a hand-held dryer on the hair. Afterwards, RINSE the hair and style as usual.

   Will the Clarifier dry out my hair?

Lori’s Clarifier Deep Cleanser does not dry the hair. It simply removes all fixatives from the hair, leaving the hair crystal clean. If your hair feels dry, then it means your hair is dry and you need to treat it with the proper conditioners and moisturizers to bring back the health of the hair. Lori suggests using her Moisturizing Shampoo and her Intensive Daily Conditioner on a daily basis. Then use Lori’s Perfection II once or twice per week. When health is restored to the hair, then you can resume your normal maintenance program.

   Will the Clarifier strip out highlights or short term color treatments?

NONE of Lori’s products will strip color from the hair. Lori’s Clarifier is a mild product which does not strip color. The Clarifier is designed to pull out any coating of products off the hair, leaving it crystal clean. (Water alone can strip short term hair coloring.)

Clarifier is color safe. If your hair is porous and is in bad condition from chemical abuse, hair color will not hold, or the color will grab on the porous part of the hair. This means your hair color is not taking properly, and your hair needs extra conditioning to bring it back to a normal state.

Note: you can use Lori’s Perfection II at least twice per week using a heating cap for a minimum of 10 minutes for maximum results. NEVER USE HOT WATER TO WASH OR RINSE YOUR HAIR. Use warm water to wash your hair and follow with a cool rinse. This helps close the cuticle layer of your hair.

NONE of Lori’s products are tested on animals. Lori tests everything on herself. Lori and staff are animal lovers and believe in protecting these precious creatures that God has given to us to love and enjoy.
